Bad Bloggers

Wow we are not good at this blogging game at all. I guess we really are not that exciting. Nothing to interesting has happend in the last 2 months. Work is picking up for me, the nice weather gets people thinking about projects so I have been busing meeting people and getting bids out. Work is going good for Nicole things are really picking up for her as well. My nephew Max was in town the other weekend that was alot of fun. He and his Mom (my step sister Alexa) live in Floridia so we don't see them very often. So we had to get him something to remember Uncle Don And Aunt Nicole by so what better present than a toy chain saw. He loved it he wanted to cut everything down. Other than that Nicole's highlight was probably catching her first sucker. We went fishing last Sunday it was a lot fun even thow she out fished me.

Caught this catfish thru the ice on Tuesday measured just shy of 2' it was pretty fun. A few decent gills as well.

More Ice Fishing

I got Nicole out on the Ice for the first time this afternoon.She had a blast we caught a ton of fish. I took her to a private pond owned by a guy I know. The fish we caught were not that big so we didn't keep very many. However dragging the shanty through a foot of snow was not that much fun. She may have caught more fish than me.

Ice Fishing

I went Ice Fishing up by Baldwin Tuesday night. It was a ton of fun but a little cold. When we got on the ice at 3pm it was 10 degrees when got off the ice at 11:30 pm it was -6. Thank goodness for shantys and heaters.We ended up catching about 50 crappie between 4 guys so not so bad. They were all good sized with the picture of my fish that is a 20oz bottle to show how big they were.

Stacey & Mackenzie's Wedding

Our friends Stacey and Mackenzie got married on the 19yh of December. It was very nice. The wedding was at Fellowship church in Holland and reception was at Portebellos in Grand Haven. Don was a groomsman.

Bailey was not too excited to pose as one of Santa's reindeer, but we were able to sanp a picture before he freaked out too much. No big holiday plans, we will be staying in Holland and not making the trip to Virginia with my family this year.
